Sympathies go to the family, friends and colleagues of P. D. James who died today. Daniel is currently half way through recording the complete series of her Adam Dalgliesh novels for audiobook. The books are consistently gripping, surprising and moving. Well worth reading or listening to.

Daniel records Season 3 of BBC Radio 4's war drama Homefront playing Pauline, a geordie transvestite prostitute.

50 Greatest Love Poems at the Southbank Centre. Daniel will be reading two poems as part of this celebration of love. He will be joined by leading actors and poets from across the world.

Random House have lined Daniel up to record the new Sadie Jones book Fallout. Her first novel, The Outcast, won the Costa First Novel and was shortlisted for the Orange Prize.

Daniel is recording three new audiobooks for Penguin, Random House and Headline (After the Silence, The Formula and The Devil's Ark respectively).

Daniel is filming his second series of Foyle's War between January and April 2014.
He plays series regular Adam Wainwright, the on-screen husband of Honeysuckle Weeks' character, Samantha Wainwright.
