Daniel is starring alongside F. Murray Abraham, Naomi Frederick and Jonathan Cullen in a new play called The Mentor written by Daniel Kehlmann, translated by Christopher Hampton and directed by Laurence Boswell at the Ustinov Studio in Bath.

The play tells the story of a fractious mentoring project between playwrights Benjamin Rubin (played by F. Murray) - author of a seminal work half a century ago - and Martin (played by Daniel) - the "Voice of his Generation".

What Will Survive written by Morwenna Banks and starring Daniel, Rebecca Front and Ramon Tikaram examines the struggle of coming to terms with the death of a parent. It will broadcast on Monday 20th February on BBC Radio 4.

 



BBC Radio 4 also bring Daniel back for another series of Tommies which will concentrate on the battle for Vimy Ridge. He is reunited with Lee Ross (as Mickey Bliss) to play Geordie psychopath Desmond Dixon.

Daniel joins the cast of Silent Witness for The Covenant to play Clarissa's husband, Max, a digital forensics expert.
Episodes 1 and 2 on 23rd and 24th January respectively on BBC 1 at 9pm.
